Self Test with an Android Device

Your appointment email invitation contains a link that enables you to test your video image. (Also called a "mirror test".)

  1. Open your email invitation and tap the link in the Make a Test Call section. A Welcome to eVisit test screen appears with two sections.
  2. Scroll down to the Self test section and click the Test button.

    If nothing happens when you tap the Test button, you might need to clear the browser's cache.

  3. A few panels appear, where you enter your name and allow permissions. Complete each panel and to continue, click Next.
  4. The final panel shows a self-view, the selected camera and microphone, and a Join button. Check your camera and microphone and change as needed
  5. Check your self-view for both the quality of the video signal and your video image. For example, check that your image is:
    • Centered with your head and shoulders in the frame.
    • Not too zoomed-in or zoomed-out.
    • Well lit — lighting should be bright and even.
  6. To end the test call, close the browser.

 

Clearing browser cache

  1. On your Android device, open Chrome.
  2. Tap More More and then "Clear browsing data".
