Check the Wireless Connection (Wi-Fi) on a Mac
The quality and strength of your Wi-Fi or wireless connection can directly affect your video quality. A test can help you determine the quality of your device's connection and how well it will work for videoconferencing.
See Test with a Mac > Good Internet Connection.
Here are a few actions you can try to improve the quality of your wireless connection:
- Turn off, or distance yourself from, other devices or appliances around you that may diminish your wireless signal strength such as microwave, cordless phone, or wireless camera.
- Move closer to your internet router.
- Move to another location with a stronger signal or less interference.
- Reboot your router or call your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
